4-10-2015 | Approx 8:00 a.m. a head on collision occurred on Arkansas CR 73 about 1 mile from the Texas state line. I heard that one of the people involved was trapped under a vehicle and was unresponsive. There were two vehicles involved in the accident. A large diesel engine truck and a small compact car. When I arrived, Miller county officers and LifeNet personnel were working to get the deceased man out from under the car. Photos of this accident:

4-9-2015 | At approx 8:10 p.m. Miller county officers and EMT personelle were called out to CR 125 cross of Robinhood Ln in Texarkana, Arkansas. I do not have the official statement from the police at this time. The call over the scanner stated that a man attempted to force his way into a home. The homeowner shot himself by accident, and then also shot the home invader. I also heard that they had taken 1 man into custody. As soon as I get a statement from police, I will post an update.

4-7-2015 | Approx 9:00 p.m. TAFD responded to a call of a trailer possibly on fire at Davis Lumber. It turned out to be a small box trailer that was on fire with visible smoke coming from the cargo area. We do not know the cause or origin of the fire at this time. Photos of this fire are below.

4-4-2015 | Simply Perfect Marketing put on a business expo and fashion show at the Texas side convention center. Many local businesses were in attendance showcasing their products and services. I had a chance to get to know a hand full of them as I made my way around the event. Photos of the event:

4-7-2015 | Approx 12:50 p.m. TTPD TTFD & Lifenet responded to a multiple vehicle accident occurred in front of Cavender’s on the east bound access road off I-30. The accident involved an 18 wheeler and a motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was taken away via ambulance. I was able to ask the driver of the 18 wheeler for a comment, but he appeared to be in shock and did not respond. Photos of this accident below:

4-3-2015 | Approx 8:00 p.m. Three vehicles were involved in an accident on State line Ave in front of Hooter’s. Two of the vehicles had obvious front end damage and the third had rolled over. When the initial call came across the radio, it was reported that a small child had been thrown from one of the vehicles. At least one person was taken away via ambulance. The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time. The accident caused traffic to back up to the interstate exit which also caused other minor accidents, one that happened just in front…
