In the recent “Fall Drug Take Back” event the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department collected 232 pounds of prescription drugs from the community. In the state of Arkansas, a total of 28,035 pounds were collected.

For those that have prescription drugs they wish to dispose of safely, there is a drop-off box at the entrance of the Miller County Jail on Highway 71.
