    2017 Bramlett Beans & Cornbread Event Thursday December 7

    Time for the 19th Annual Bramlett Beans & Cornbread event at Southwest Center in Texarkana on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  All proceeds from the event will benefit the Christmas Basket program, a volunteer effort by the Cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana Water Utilities that provides holiday food for families in need who reside in the Texarkana area. 

    Lunch includes beans and cornbread, sponsored by Big Jake’s BBQ and Texarkana Independent School District, sodas sponsored by Coca Cola and coffee and dessert sponsored by Starbucks.

    The cost of lunch is $5 per person or six non-perishable food items.

    A silent auction will be held and proceeds will be donated to the to the Empty Bowl Project program and Christmas Baskets project.
