Corporal Clayton McWilliams was severely injured in a highway crash while responding to a call to an accident involving a log truck on Highway 71. McWilliams has now been transferred to UAMS in Little Rock.
Arkansas State Trooper Clayton McWilliams is being treated at Christus St. Michael Hospital for injuries he received after his vehicle hydro-planed on Highway 71 at the Wilton Arkansas City Limits, his unit left the roadway and struck a tree.

Texarkana Texas Police have arrested a suspect in the theft of a 2018 Ford Expedition from the Arkansas side. Two suspects were arrested on Sunday evening for an attempted armed robbery at the Ellis Pottery store on Summerhill Road. Brandon Staggs, 25, and Toni Works, 34, have been charged with aggravated robbery and are being held at Bi-State with a $100,000 bond.
