The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Everick Monk, 58, of McNeil, Arkansas, on multiple charges and he may face additional charges. Monk is currently in jail with bail set at $175,000.
It’s Halloween weekend in Texarkana. With Halloween falling on a Sunday this year, most parties, costume contests, and whatnot for adults will be Friday and Saturday nights, but there are some Trunk or Treats scheduled for the kids on Saturday and Sunday also.
The Texarkana Arkansas Police report that Cornell Brown, 30, of Memphis has been arrested by U.S. Marshalls on an outstanding Capital Murder warrant. Brown will be extradited back to Texarkana to face charges.
Miller County is mourning today the loss of Assistant Chief Lucas Stephenson of the Mandeville, Arkansas Fire Department. Stephenson died in a vehicle crash while responding to a call Tuesday night. He was 25-years-old.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department has released more information on the altercation that led to the shooting death of Ulises Martinez, 17. Brothers Kamorion and Kieran Meachem are charged with the homicide that happened yesterday afternoon on Sidney Drive. Both are being held on one million dollar bonds.

A shooting incident occurred near the intersection of Moores Lane and Sidney Street earlier today that sent the Pleasant Grove Middle School into Lockdown. The shooting suspect was arrested and the lockdown was lifted.
