We love our local talent and they will be showing off all over town this Friday and Saturday. We want to rundown where you can find your favorite live music. There are also some really special events taking place this Saturday we want to share.
The 37th Annual Main Street Texarkana downtown Christmas Parade will happen at 7:00 pm in downtown Texarkana on Monday, December 6, 2021. The theme for this year’s parade will be “The 12 Days of Christmas” and all parade entries must be lighted.

Be sure to pass this on, the Texarkana Area Veteran’s Council will be hosting the 2021 Veteran’s Day Parade in downtown Texarkana on Saturday, November 13. The theme for this year is “Welcome Home Afghanistan Veterans”.
The Texarkana Museums System and the Texarkana Music Teachers Association have teamed up to present two great events in downtown Texarkana to celebrate Scott Joplin and Ragtime Music.

Halloween is already spooky, but why not amp it up with a campout in Boggy Creek bottoms, home to the legendary Fouke Monster. This event is October 29 – 31 and is a lot of fun. Campsites are free of charge but are on a first come first serve basis, so be quick and reserve your space now.
Another silly one from the Texarkana Texas Police Department on a recent home burglary where the homeowner caught the burglar in his home, body-slammed the suspect unconscious, then reclaimed his stolen property. Which happened to be the clothes the crook was wearing.
After the rain moves through, this weekend is shaping up for amazing weather with highs in the 70s and lows in the upper 40s. Now is the time to get out and enjoy some of the local entertainment on tap for this weekend.
Sunday, October 17 Pecan Point Gastropub & Brewery will host the Opportunities Inc. Angel Guild for “Touchdowns & Tastings”. Proceeds will help programs to empower children and adults with developmental disabilities to live full lives in our community. Got to be 21 or over.
