    Two popular local educators have made moves to the Pleasant Grove Independent School District. Carla Dupree, most recently Principal at Texas High will be the new Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Matt Fry will be leaving L.E.I.S.D. for the position of Director of Operations.

    Wadley Announces Plans for New $227 Million Hospital in Northwest Texarkana

    Steward Health Care has announced plans for a new $227 million medical center in Northwest Texarkana. The new facilities will be more than 400,000 square feet and are expected to be completed by the Summer of 2024. The hospital on Pine Street will remain open during construction.
