There are currently 544 active cases of COVID 19 in Bowie County, 66 active cases in Cass County, and 162 active cases in Miller County. The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office reports that ADC inmate Randy L. Baker, 37, will be facing aggravated assault/death charges in the killing of a fellow ADC inmate while both were being housed in the Bowie County Annex Jail located at 105 West Front Street Texarkana, Texas.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department reports that the U.S. Marshals have arrested Alana Coleman, 38, a suspect in the Texarkana 2012 murder of Donald Ray Morris at the Redwood Apartments on 7th Street.
The annual “Four States Invitational Marching Competition”, hosted by Texas High School will take place this Saturday, October 24 at Grim Stadium in Texarkana. The competition will be from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Because of pandemic restrictions, there will be a few changes you need to be aware of.
