Miller County Investigators have made two arrests in a recent horse theft case. Press Release: On Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at approximately 8am, Miller County Deputies responded to Fouke in reference to the theft of three horses. While on scene, Deputies were advised that one of the horses had been sighted in a small field in Fouke. Deputies and the owner responded and the owner took possession of the horse. A TTPD Officer was injured overnight when Jaroy Simpson attempted to escape the scene of a traffic stop. The officer suffered cuts and scratches to his hands and legs from being dragged a short distance. He was treated for the injuries at the scene.
The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Chance Wayne Duck and Alicia Kaye Braley for possession of over 400 grams of methamphetamine. They were both transported to the Bi-State Jail where they were booked in.

Miller County Deputies have arrested Michael Wade McBride, 26, of Texarkana Arkansas and booked him into the Miller County Detention Center on a charge of residential burglary. Deputies were able to track McBride down because he dropped his cell phone while fleeing from the scene.
