A Texarkana Texas Fire Department employee has been placed on administrative leave after sharing a racially charged comment on his personal Facebook Page. Upon learning of the post City Officials were quick to act and will be completely transparent with the public in further actions against the unidentified employee.

A major construction project to rebuild Interstate 30 through Texarkana Texas will begin in July and last approximately 4 years. This will completely rebuild I-30 from Kings Highway in Nash to Stateline Avenue.

Dwight Nevill is a long-time friend of ours and he has been battling cancer for a while now. Dwight is back home in New Boston on Hospice care. Dwight is a well known local philanthropist and biker. For decades this man has served our community and tonight in a show of appreciation, a “Ride By” his home will happen.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department has arrested and charged a Texarkana father and son with the continued Sexual Assualt of a Child. David Fant, 56, and Hayden Fant, 19, both of Texarkana, Texas are currently in Bi-State Jail. The victim is a seven-year-old relative of the two men. No bail has been set.
