Students with ‘Beyond Fierce Cheer & Dance Studio’ will be performing at the world-famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. We will be looking for them when the parade is televised on NBC.
In the recent “Fall Drug Take Back” event the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department collected 232 pounds of prescription drugs from the community. In the state of Arkansas, a total of 28,035 pounds were collected.
Texarkana Texas Police have arrested and charged Elexis Davis, 18, of Texarkana Arkansas, and Christofer Coleman-Pearson, 19, of Texarkana Texas with Burglary. Davis also caught a charge for Possession of Dangerous Drugs.
The Texarkana Texas City Council voted to renew the city’s youth curfew ordinance that makes it illegal for anyone younger than 17 to be in public on the Texas side without a parent and certain times.

The Texarkana Area Community Foundation (TACF)awarded 47 grants totaling $68,407.00. An additional 17 checks totaling $10,700 from the Andrew G. and Sarah S. Goesl Endowment, for a total of $79,107.00 was presented to area recipients on Thursday at a gathering at the Texarkana Regional Arts Center.
