    The Southern Indian singing group The Texas Connection will be returning to Texarkana for the 2017 Scout-O-Rama. The group performs at Pow Wows throughout Texas and Oklahoma, and will be performing at Spring Lake Park this weekend with multiple performances throughout the day on Saturday, April 22.

    Suspect in Shooting of 14-year-old Turns Himself in to Police

    The Texarkana Texas Police Department reports that Devonta Henderson, 25, of Texarkana Texas turned himself in to police and is being charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after a shooting on April 10 left a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.

    Positive Identification Proves Body Found on I-49 that of Missing Woman

    The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the body found on I-49 near Fouke Arkansas is Kim Roberts. Mrs. Roberts had been reported missing. The missing persons case is officially closed.

    Human Remains Discovered Under Bridge Near Fouke Arkansas

    The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that human remains have been discovered at the Fouke exit from I-49. Authorities are unable to comment as to the identity, gender, or cause of death and the investigation is being handled by the Arkansas State Police.
