    Texarkana Police Arrest of Armed Suspect Captured on Video

    The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department arrested LeRoydrick Rashad Dickerson, 27, of Texarkana Arkansas after a short vehicle pursuit following a traffic violation. Dickerson was found to be in possession of two loaded firearms, and a quantity of marijuana.

    Suspect with 17 Felony Convictions Arrested for ATM Theft

    A man with 17 felony convictions was arrested in connection to the recent theft of an ATM machine from the Sav-a-lot Store on East Street. Joshua Rigsby, 33, of Texarkana, Arkansas, has been arrested and charged with Commercial Burglary, Theft of Property (felony) and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons.

    New Playground Equipment Burned Less than 24 HRS of Being Installed by Vandals

    A community is saddened this morning when locals found that over night, vandals had set fire to the newly installed play equipment at Beverly Park in Texarkana Texas. The following statement and photos were posted to the City of Texarkana’s Facebook page. Imagine our heartbreak when we found this happened at Beverly Park overnight. We’ve spent months and years planning, preparing, budgeting and installing brand new playground equipment and can’t imagine why someone would burn it less 24 hours after we finished putting it in. That’s right, we finished this playground YESTERDAY. Please, Texarkana, let’s do better.
