    The first “E.A.A. Fly-In” is in the books for the new Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1582 based at Texarkana Regional Airport. Many local pilots had their planes on display, including the U.S. Airforce with their C-130 Hercules for the public to explore.

    Long-time Fair Vendor and Carnival Operator Dick Hanson found Murdered

    Richard “Dick” Hanson, 68, of Butte La Rose Louisiana was found dead in his home. Three people are behind bars and charged with his murder. Dick Hanson was the carnival vendor and promoter of multiple events at the Four States Fairgrounds for decades.

    The images are disturbing and heartbreaking as inmate Michael Sabbie, 35, pleads with corrections officers at the Bi-State Jail in Texarkana for help. Sabbie repeatedly begs for help saying that he cannot breathe. The video is getting national attention as it has now been posted by the Huffington Post.

    Multiple Warrants Issued for Father of Baby that was Center of Critical Missing Person Alert

    The Texarkana Texas Police Department is searching for the Wilmer Hill, 21, the father of a baby that was the center of a “Critical Missing Persons Alert” issued by the TTPD. The baby has been found safe and returned to her mother at this time. Police are continuing the search for Hill at this time.

    UPDATE: MISSING BABY RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO MOTHER.

    The missing baby is from the case yesterday where the father of the child led officers on a high-speed pursuit that resulted in the SUV the father was driving crashing. The father of the child, Wilmer Hill, 21, fled into the woods from the scene of the crash.
