    Suspect Identified in Texarkana Juvenile Homicide

    The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has identified 19-year-old Kahim Webster as the suspect in the October 22, 2024, homicide of a male juvenile. The young victim was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, following the tragic shooting at the River Run Apartment Complex.

    New Study Finds Arkansas Lithium Reserves Could Meet Global Demand Nine Times Over

    A recent study by the U.S. Geological Survey and the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment revealed a staggering lithium discovery in southwestern Arkansas.     East Texas Man Charged in Disturbing Animal Cruelty Case

    A 24-year-old Simms man, Stuart Duncan Hammonds, has been arrested and charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty in a grisly case involving the deaths of multiple dogs. The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation on October 3 after receiving reports of several missing dogs in the Simms area.
