David Farren, 42, of Texarkana was sentenced to 15 years in an Arkansas State prison following his guilty plea that has resulted in convictions on nine felony charges in the sexual assault of two teenage girls.
Farren entered pleas of guilty in a Miller County courtroom on Tuesday. Farren was first arrested in a case involving the first teenage victim on August 3 of 2016 and posted bond. Farren was then arrested and recieved more charges on August 12 after a second teenage victim came forward with accusations against the former pastor.Miller County Prose
The Miller County Prosecutors office reports that Farren received a 15 year sentence for each of the nine felony charges. Seven counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of second-degree sexual assault and failure to report charges. The sentences will run concurrently. Farren will have to register as a sexual offender when released from prison.
