The Bowie County Sheriff’s office reports that one teen is in the hospital and another has died from what officials believe could be carbon monoxide poisoning from toxic fumes produced by a gas generator.
Texarkana Texas Police responded to a call Monday night from a concerned neighbor that could hear children crying for their mother, worried the children were left alone. They were. While the children cried out the parents were at a nearby laundromat playing a video game.
World-class jazz guitarist Ted Ludwig will perform at Texarkana’s Perot Theatre on Saturday, February 5 in downtown Texarkana. Tickets are available for this program, “Exotic Inspirations“.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department is searching for Alfred Reynolds as the suspect in a Friday afternoon shooting at Sunset Apartments. If you have any information that can help detectives locate Reynolds, you can remain anonymous by reporting thru Crimestoppers at 903.793.STOP(7867).
The TexAmericas Center will be getting a new tenant and the Texarkana area will be getting hundreds of new jobs with the opening of Expansion Ammo in a space that once housed Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant.

Authorities are searching for Charles Brooks Jr., 29, of Atlanta Tx. and Dallas, Tx., after he cut off his ankle monitor and fled. He is wanted for three felony charges, intent to cause bodily harm to a minor; aggravated robbery; and now tampering with an electronic monitoring device. In our opinion, Brooks never should have been out on bond!
