A fantastic summer program for kids, Camp Save-a-Life gives children an opportunity to shadow medical professionals. Registration is first come, first served and the maximum number of spaces available in each camp is 20 students.
A group of Texarkana residents were rescued by Arkansas Game & Fish agents over the weekend after the group of adults and children spent the night stuck in their boats stranded on a sandbar where Little River feeds into Red River.

Investigators with the Miller County Sherrif’s Office are investigating a string of recent thefts in the area near County Road 10. A few suspects have already been identified and arrests are pending, but investigators are seeking information from the public.

Texarkana Texas Police have arrested one man in connection to an overnight homicide on Stateline Avenue. Officers arrived at Bay Wash Car Wash on Stateline to find one victim with multiple gunshots, the victim was pronounced dead at St. Michaels. Lee Lewis, 36, of Texarkana has been arrested and charged with murder.
