Texarkana Texas Police have arrested and charged five men for aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity after an investigation into a robbery that occurred at the Legacy Apartments off Richmond Road.
The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department arrested Dewayne Franklin, 21, of Wheatfield Connecticut, and Jermany Tiswell, 25, of Marianna Arkansas, after discovering 10 pounds of marijuana, 4 pounds of THC oil, and ecstasy during a traffic stop.

Texarkana Texas Police responded to a call of a man “wrecking cars”. David Favors allegedly broke one woman’s cell phone, punched a woman in the face, hit another woman with his car, and then drove through the front yard to plow into two cars parked in the driveway.
A Texarkana Texas man allegedly abandoned his 7-year-old daughter, with no coat or shoes on, while trying to evade arrest. The girl was found crying and alone. The man was later found hiding in a closet at a home on Blanton Street with another child. CPS is involved in the investigation.
Habitat for Humanity Texarkana has completed their first home in Texarkana Arkansas and is inviting the public to the dedication ceremony on Friday, February 8 at 12:30 pm. Plans are already underway for a second house to be constructed soon on the Arkansas side.

The Texarkana Texas Police report that a lawsuit has been filed in a use-of-force incident that occurred on January 27th involving a 17-year-old male. The Police were responding to a fight in the street off of Belt Road that involved approximately 80 people.
