TTPD reports that a fatal motorcycle accident has occurred on New Boston Road and taken the life of a local biker, Charles Kissinger, 36, died after colliding with a pick-up truck that had pulled into his path. Our prayers for all involved.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department reports that the SWAT team had to be called in after a stand-off with Andrew Brown, 40, of Texarkana, Texas. Brown eventually surrendered to authorities and was charged with Assault-Family Violence.
March 29, 2021, is a National Day of recognition to all who served in the Vietnam War. Texarkana’s Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #278 will be hosting a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the war at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 29 recognizing and honoring all who served.
