    Officials with T.I.S.D. have been investigating the threats of violence at Texas High on March 8, and have found that the threats were a prank. However, there will be increased police presence on campus for the remainder of the week.

    Officials with the Texarkana Independent School District have released a statement regarding perceived threats against the school that was scrawled in a campus bathroom and on a desk. Officials believe it to be a prank, but are investigating the threats and will release information regarding their findings this evening.

    Texarkana Police Arrest Woman for Child Endangerment

    The Texarkana Texas Police have arrested a woman and charged her with 3 counts of child endangerment after a child was thrown from her vehicle in an accident on Stateline Avenue. Investigators were able to determine that all told, 3 children were in her vehicle at the time of the wreck with no seatbelts or child restraint seats.

    The Redwater Volunteer Fire Department battled an early morning blaze with assistance from neighboring volunteer fire departments. Nobody was seriously injured in the blaze, but the family lost everything. Firefighters have compiled a list of things the family needs.

    Miller County Deputies Arrest Two for Theft, Firearms and Meth

    Miller County Deputies were investigating a theft, when they found two suspects trying to hide. One man was hiding under a bed, and the other under a couch. Brian Mudd, 36, and Tobey McCarley, 39, were arrested and each are facing multiple charges.
