    The citizens of Maud Texas will be voting yes or no for liquor sales in the small east Texas community on May 6, 2017. Citizens collected enough signatures in November of 2016 to get the item added to the upcoming ballot. So we wanted to ask you, should alcohol be sold in Maud Texas? Sound off in our opinion poll!

    Over 500 Gems Found at Crater of Diamonds State Park in 2016

    Officials at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro Arkansas report that 501 diamonds were discovered at the park in 2016. Of those found, 339 were white, 85 brown, and 77 yellow diamonds, weighing a total of 96.6 carats.

    Texarkana Man Sentenced to 45 Years for Indecency with Child

    Donald Ray Coleman, 34, of Texarkana, Texas has been convicted by a Bowie County jury and given 45 years in prison for three counts of indecency with a child by contact involving a girl who was 12 and 14 years old when the incidents occurred in 2014 and 2016.

    After more than 6 months on the run, 26-year-old Denickolas Brown of Texarkana Arkansas was arrested in Dallas on a warrant for failure to appear on a rape charge in Miller County Arkansas. Brown is accused of assaulting a woman he met on Facebook.
