    Popular Local Diner Forced to Close on Christmas Eve

    The Texarkana Texas Police are investigating the theft of an automatic teller machine from the Red River Credit Union location on University in Texarkana Texas. Thieves used equipment stolen from a nearby construction site to aid in the robbery.

    The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is searching for Jucquian Tyson, and Keanu White in connection to recent auto thefts. Subsequently, the two stolen vehicles were used in an attempt to rob a local pawn shop.

    Planned Funeral Route for Fallen Miller County Corrections Officer

    The entire community is mourning the death of corrections officer Lisa Mauldin in an attack by an inmate at the Miller County Detention Center. The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has released the planned route for the funeral procession.

    The Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department along with other agencies responded to a call for an out of control grass fire near the Lantz Lurry Juvenile Detention Center at 19th and the Loop. Firefighters quickly gained control of the fire.
