Texarkana Texas Police have arrested and charged Gavin Baber, 20, of Texarkana Texas with Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury on Saturday morning after an alleged fight with another man. During the fight, the victim’s eye was gouged causing serious injury to the optic nerve.

Calvin Gardner, the suspect in the double shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at the Waffle House, turned himself into police at approximately 9:00 this evening and was booked into the Bi-State Jail for two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. A bond has not yet been set for Gardner.

New Boston Texas Police along with Bowie County Deputies served a warrant on the residence of Kenneth Griffin. Police discovered the suspected Fentanyl and a large quantity of methamphetamine inside the home.
