    The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department in a joint operation with the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, The U.S. Marshals Service and the F.B.I. identified 26 suspects involved with a major methamphetamine syndidcate. Early this morning the task force arrested 18 people, and some warrants remain outstanding.

    High Voltage Towers North of New Boston Destroyed in Storms

    A big reason that it is taking a while to get power restored to some areas after Monday’s storms is that several high voltage line towers north of New Boston, Texas were destroyed. Crews have been working night and day to repair the damages and restore electricity to residents.

    Crash Causes Traffic Signal Damage at South Lake Drive Intersection

    The signal lights at the intersection of Hwy. 59 and Loop 151 are in flashing mode due to damage from an overnight car accident that took out one of the signal light systems. Authorities say it could be up to two weeks before the signal lights at the intersection are repaired.
