Nine individuals will be charged with the following: Aggravated Assault X 9 Counts, Battery in the 2nd Degree Engaging in Violent Criminal Group Activity, Terroristic Act, and Criminal Mischief in the 1st Degree with Damages Over $1,000 but Under $5,000. 5 persons are currently in custody.

Three Texarkana men are in police custody after multiple reports of shots fired and the description of the car used led to a traffic stop. In that stop, police found marijuana, and 3 guns, including one that was reported stolen in 2020.

The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office reports that Billy John Scott, 50, of Maud Texas has been booked into the Bi-State Jail for the offense of Murder in the shooting death of his brother-in-law Larry Dewayne Kirby, 39, of Maud.
