The Miller County Sheriff’s Department reports that Zackery Rollins, 22, of Texarkana, Arkansas has been arrested and charged with breaking and entering and theft of property. Rollins’ bond has been set at $30,000.
Texarkana Arkansas Police report that Chad Jernigan, 41, of Texarkana Arkansas has been arrested in connection to a body discovered buried in a shallow grave in Jernigan’s backyard. Though awaiting positive ID from DNA or dental records it is believed it may be the remains of Richard York. York has been missing since July 2017.
Friday night’s Lunar Eclipse, or Blood Moon, will be the longest in a century. The eclipse is forecasted to last 103 minutes total. This coincides with Mars making the nearest pass of the Earth in 15 years.

A Bowie County Deputy has been arrested and charged with Assault with Bodily Injuries and transported to the Bi-State Jail. Stephen Powell, 38, of Texarkana Texas is employed as a deputy/bailiff with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department.
