The Texarkana Texas Police Department has requested a bomb squad from DFW to assist after a grenade was discovered by workers under the porch of a home located at 39th and Olive Streets.
The Texarkana Big Lots Store located at 2729 New Boston Road in Oaklawn Village is currently not allowed to sell food items. Reports are that the store’s permit to sell food items has been pulled after food contamination with rat feces and urine was discovered by health inspectors.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department reports that they made 316 adult arrests in February of 2017. Out of those arrests, there were 228 men, and 88 women, 257 of those arrested had prior arrests locally, 28 were on bond, and 31 were on probation at the time of their arrests.
Texarkana Police report that they have arrested two men and seized a little more than 10 pounds of synthetic marijuana in traffic stops on Wednesday. Both men were charged with “Possession of a Controlled Substance penalty group 2-A over 5 pounds under 50 pounds”, one man was also found to have a little bit of real marijuana and caught an additional charge.

A Fouke Arkansas man has been convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for the charges of Rape and Sexual Assault of a 16-year-old girl. The victim was 10 and 11 at the time of the crimes. Quentin Kyle Green, 39 was taken into custody immediately after the trial Thursday.
