The Bowie County Sheriff’s office reports that one teen is in the hospital and another has died from what officials believe could be carbon monoxide poisoning from toxic fumes produced by a gas generator.
Texarkana Texas Police responded to a call Monday night from a concerned neighbor that could hear children crying for their mother, worried the children were left alone. They were. While the children cried out the parents were at a nearby laundromat playing a video game.

Authorities are searching for Charles Brooks Jr., 29, of Atlanta Tx. and Dallas, Tx., after he cut off his ankle monitor and fled. He is wanted for three felony charges, intent to cause bodily harm to a minor; aggravated robbery; and now tampering with an electronic monitoring device. In our opinion, Brooks never should have been out on bond!

Sad news for the many fans of Brewsters on the Boulevard. The coffee shop has decided to close its doors indefinitely due to a number of factors including the pandemic.
The Texarkana Animal Shelter will close temporarily due to COVID 19 exposure to employees. Officials will make sure that animals at the shelter will be taken care of, however, the adoption center will be closed until Tuesday, January 18.

A perfectly good Camaro was driven to death as Chelsea Davis, 22, tried to evade arrest from TTPD officers on Tuesday night. After destroying the car trying to escape on flat tires, Davis has been charged Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, Resisting Arrest, and for the original felony Forgery warrant out of Arkansas.
Coy Fisk, 26, has been charged with Assault on a Peace Officer and Escape Causing Bodily Injury after making a break for it after being checked out at Wadley Hospital. As officers were searching for Fisk, they heard yelling come from an alley on 11th Street.

Texarkana Arkansas Police are seeking any information that will help locate 14-year-old Onyx Gibson. The teen was last known to be at the Riverview Facility on Arkansas Boulevard. It is reported that he fled the facility around 9:00 pm on January 7.

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the couple found at the Mercer Bayou boat ramp was killed by a single gunshot each, and a weapon was found near the couple. They have been identified as William Hines, 49, and Lisa Hines, 52, both of Miller County.
