The suspect that was shot by a Texarkana Texas Police Officer following a foot pursuit has been released from the St. Michael hospital and booked into the Bi-State Jail.

Texarkana Texas Police have released more information regarding the overnight shooting involving a TTPD officer. Timothy Noble, 20, was shot by a patrol officer following a short foot pursuit. Noble allegedly produced a drum fed pistol before the officer fired his service weapon. Noble is in stable condition.
Bowie County Investigators report that Anthony Krebs, 41, and Leslie Harkins, 43, have been arrested after being found in possession of more than 1.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine. Both have received drug and weapons charges.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department has arrested and charged Kavante Wright, 26, with Murder. Wright also had two outstanding warrants for probation violations. EricGentry, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Miller County Deputies arrested Ryan Kent Walker, 30 of Texarkana, Arkansas and charged him with two Counts of Residential Burglary, multiple counts of Theft of Property, Firearms, and Criminal Mischief charges, all felonies. Texarkana Texas Police have arrested Dontavious Haney, 19, for Aggravated Assault on following a fight with his girlfriend. When police arrived to the scene she was not breathing. She is currently in critical condition.

TTPD reports that they have captured the subject of an overnight manhunt. Lucas Scott Lawson has been arrested and charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Evading Detention, he is also being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Arista Apartment Mangager, Erin Mackenzie Megginson, 38, was arrested last week for felony theft by The Texarkana Texas Police Department. Megginson is the property manager at the Arista Apartments, where the thefts are alleged to have occurred.

We have been notified that the gas leak at TAMUT has been contained and the the campus has re-opened at this time. In an effort to keep student, staff and facility safe the campus of Texas A&M University-Texarkana was evacuated this afternoon. Construction crews have severed a gas line on the TAMUT campus. Campus has been evacuated to First Baptist Church on Moores Lane and is closed until further notice. The Miller County Sherrif’s Department is reporting a couple of overnight arrests that resulted from traffic stops. Christopher Orand, and Howard Nielson are both in the Miller County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
Yesterday at a local Walmart a woman tried to avoid possible shop-lifting charges by claiming two of her minor male relatives had gone to the restroom and not returned. She obviously didn’t think this one through all the way.
After receiving a tip that a jailer was smuggling contraband into the Bowie County Jail. When searched, Brandy Denise Coulter was found to be in possession of weed and tobacco. Coulter has been arrested and charged with a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility and booked into the jail. She declined to cooperate with the investigation. Coulter’s bond has been set at $75,000.

Prescott Police Chief Joseph Beavers gives details on the shooting of an eighth-grade student by another eighth-grader this morning in the small town in Nevada County Arkansas. The shooter was captured and the injured student is in stable condition at Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
